Created in August 1971, the Houston Community College (HCC) is one of the largest community colleges in the United States offering associate degrees and certificates in academic studies and career and technology programs. HCC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees.
